Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas !

We had a good one...It dumped snow the whole day and most of the 26th as well! Boy were we excited to have a White Christmas!! The boys enjoyed what Santa brought and all the gifts under the tree and then SLEDDING on the huge pile of snow that Shane piled up from the driveway and our cul-de-sac...We enjoyed a fantastic ham dinner and my parents...here are a few shots of the boys and their "loot"

I love this place...

This morning driving into work I was overcome by the beauty of our Mountains, all snow covered with the pinkish-lavender sun coming up behind them - the sky was so clear...and the BIG American Flag that was flying so proudly in the wind. It took my breath away...Now, 5 hours later it is dumping buckets of snow on us! I am loving it! I don't think the novelty of this will wear off all season!! I love UTAH!

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree...

How lovely are your branches...Tyler, Mary and family came down this weekend to help with the boys while Shane and I went to our Job Christmas Party. Shane and Tyler - the hero's that they are - went out for a few groceries Saturday afternoon and came back with a CHRISTMAS TREE! The kids had a great time decorating it and we enjoyed watching!

I've been...TAGGED?

So, Val tagged me with the fourth picture from my fourth folder - here it is...

This was taken last April at my Mom and Dad's place in Port Orchard, Washington. Mom and Levi had found a fort on the back part of their property and they boys thought it was really cool!

Since I only have 4 "friends" I tag Val, Mary, Kim and Claude! And let's change it up a bit...2nd folder 11th picture :)

Look what we woke up to this morning...Not sure who was the most excited! Even the girls wanted to play in it!

And it has been dumping all day! YIPPEE!

Trick-or-Treat!
Levi the "old pro" showed Landon the ropes...Landon was running to the next house before the candy even hit the bottom of his sack! Halloween is one of my favorite Holidays and seeing it through my boys' eyes makes it just that much better! What was the best part for the boys? "Getting a soda" according to Levi and "CANDY!" says Landy!

Last night we got around to carving the pumpkins...Landon lost interest the minute Shane told him to stick his hand in the pumpkin and Levi did his All By Himself...We had a great time! I am sure that you will all be able to tell Who's is Who's just by looking :) Take a stab at it...

After much persuation...I gathered up all 4 boys last weekend and took a couple of shots! It sure is hard to get them all in one spot and smiling at the same time...I don't know about you, but I think they are quite handsome and Shane and I are very proud of Our Boys!

Landon had HAD enough!

We took advantage of last weekend's weather and decided to take the trailer and bikes out overnight. The weather lady said it was the last weekend that they could promise that there would not be snow. So, we loaded up and headed for the Alpine loop. When we got there, everyone else in the Wasatch Valley had the same idea, so we headed back outta the canyon and hit 5 Mile Pass, which is BLM land as far as the eye can see FULL of trails and camping spots.

Here are a few shots of our newest hobby and My Handsome Guys...

The Best Pumpkin Patch Ever

Seeing as there is a Pumpkin Patch on every corner, the boys have been hounding us since they started to appear at the first of the month. Let me rephrase that to be truthful, Levi, Landon and I have been hounding Shane since they started popping up. I will say that since Halloween is 2 weeks away, it makes a little more sense to visit then it did 2 weeks ago! Fall is my favorite time of the year and I love Halloween.

On Thursday night, on our way home as we passed one of the many patches, I decided to place one of my bi-weekly calls to my husband to see if he would be home in time to head on down to pick our pumpkins. He did not answer, so I left a message under hushed tones in the hope that Levi "elephant ears" Mills would not over hear and start begging. We got home and started our nightly routine when Dad pulled into the driveway...always the best part of the night!

"Daddy's Home, Daddy's Home!" the boys yelled as they ran out the front door...with me trailing after them..."Who wants to goto the Pumpkin Patch?!" Shane wanted to know - he always likes to be the hero...I am not sure who was more excited - me or the boys! So we loaded up and on our way we went...past the 3 pumpkin patches that we drive by each day...towards the jobsite...

And there out in the middle of nowhere - well in a field just "outside" of town - was a Pumpkin Patch - of our very own...not a soul in sight!

Our job had bought the property, we are going to put a Park and Ride there and the farmer who had owned it was going to till under the pumpkins. He was asked not to and the employees where given the opportunity to go and pick, not only pumpkins, but peppers and tomatoes! We had a hay day...And Shane...he was the King as always...

Let's try this AGAIN...

Thanks to My Sister-In-Law Mary, I have renewed my interest in blogging...now that I can add a cute background I may be able to keep this thing up! I am going to try - what a great way to keep in touch! So we'll see if I can keep on track...maybe with a little proding!
